Message	Mine crashed and burned at only 40k miles and I drive my Z like a lil old man and it has always been babied. I`ve had several manual shift cars and not once ever had tranny failure in any of them,and I used to pund the hell of them........Ford Escort,280Z,300ZX Z31 Turbo,3000GT,Mazda truck,Ford Mustang........none of those ever gave me even a hint of tranny trouble and they were even handed down to me after going through at least 2 other family members. There`s actually a Nissan service bulletin about out tranny failure (the weak solenoids). Google Nissan Service Bulletins 300ZX and it`s there somewhere. But of course Nissan never did anything about it,unfortunately. They just went obviously wrong when they (whomever made our trannies) designed them.
